We are in the slow process of moving the entire site from a fairly antiquated 'classic' .asp (MSSQL) platform to .psp with MySQL database. This, in itself, will not, initially, improve the user experience. In fact, most visitors won't notice it all.
But is a step we felt we needed to take before implementing our plan for the future.
These include:
Better user interface on pc.
Better user interface on mobil devices.
Providing better and smoother user interactivity. (extremely limited at the moment)
A far better resource for industry professionals.
In short, before we make sailboatdata.com a much more user friendly site, we need to get the basics right.

When is this going to happen? How long must we keep waiting?
How long before someone builds a new website with a better search function for finding sailboats? I want to compare different boats specifications, but that's not possible with sailboatdata.com currently.

For a more detailed study of this issue, you should pay more attention to the basic problems of creation.
I'm a bit confused about trying to join this blog but trying to ask a question regarding a boat I have lost track of. An aluminum 55' Lapworth Sloop that went by the name of Aorangi around 1984 and docked in Redondo Beach CA. Any news would be greatly appriciated.
Providing much more better and smoother user interactivity, it is a really important step to be done!
